Penn State v. Pitt

I realize I'm posting this on a PSU thread, so of course I'll receive pro-Penn State responses. I'm also going to post this on the Pitt thread.

Here's my question. I'm not a sports fan. I have nothing against sports, but it's just not my thing. Although I'm not opposed to drinking, I'm not a partier. My interests and hobbies are more into cultural things - such as art, theater and dance.

I was accepted to UP and Pitt. What does UP offer that can feed into my interests? I visited the campus last year and thought it was ok. I was mostly concerned about its remoteness. At least what I saw from the tour, there's not much of a cultural experience at Penn State.

For a student who is not into sports - and not really into the drinking scene - it Penn State a bad fit for me?

Suggestions are welcome.

Psu is probably not the best choice for you. But it’s so big that there is something for almost everyone. Even if 5% of the students are like you that’s still almost 2000 people.
Think about it.
