No idea which to pick.
Which is best, in terms of academics AND student life?
Not really into partying though
I can’t speak for UConn, however, Penn State is known as a top party school. My D is not much into partying and she really likes Purdue, although there will be students who party at every campus. Most would consider Penn State’s student life to be superior to Purdue’s. I believe at either campus there will be plenty to do. You just have to go do it.
I can’t speak from Penn State or Purdue, but UConn’s Biology program is top notch. They are pouring money into the sciences with this initiative called “Next Generation Connecticut”. As far as student life, there is a lot of Husky Pride on campus. Like any state school there’s plenty of partying but if you’re actively looking for other ways to occupy your time, you can still have tons of fun!
Between Penn State and Purdue, It sounds like Purdue is a better fit. Can’t speak for UConn. I doubt you can go wrong at any of them.
The fact that Penn State is way higher in rank compared to the other two is making this harder for me to decide
