tugtraveller, If I remember correctly last year we were able to see the FA package on line when the acceptance arrived. But it was such a blur, I couldn’t be remembering it wrong. Haha, not a lot of help, I know.

Good Luck to all of you today. So exciting. The moment the good news came last year is still so fresh in my mind. Amazing that it has been a year already.

But… remember, if you don’t get the news you are hoping for that there are lots of great places. It seems every one of my kids friends are so happy in their schools and can’t imagine being anywhere else. And they are NOT all at their first choice schools :-)

The Daily Pennsylvanian has changed the link to the article that started this thread. The new link–and a substantially expanded article–can be found here:**

They lost 800 applications…and I would think the bulk of those applicants probably are well qualified applicants (those that were acceptance to Princeton/Harvard EA??). Perhaps for some of us, we may have a better chance…???

To those who are accepted, your financial aid info should be up, based on how it has been done historically. Of course, this is contingent on all paperwork/follow ups having been in order. Good luck!

I wholeheartedly agree with parentofpeople and pennplease123. Best of luck to everyone! Please remember that college decisions do NOT determine your worth. You guys are an amazing group of people and I am sure that you will find happiness and success no matter where you end up:)

ACCEPTED! This is the biggest shock ever to me. I’m a white male with a 2100 SAT. I never even thought for one second Penn would accept me. This is crazy!

Thank you guys so much for all the support and company you have provided me for the past 5 months. It means a lot and I look forward to seeing all of you in Philly next year! (And for all the prospective applicants, NEVER give up. I mean it.)
