I think at the very top level, test optional will likely be better for you than rising scores. Of course, get them as high as you can.

If you have that list of activities, well written applications and nothing but A’s in high school - that is the best you can do. Note you are talking about single digit acceptances in those schools. I think you are better than most people who ask this question here, for what it is worth.

Consider applying for the Johnson scholarship at Washington and Lee university. That school is doing everything it can to increase its diversity and it has huge resources and is very generous. It also has a business school. Now, W&L needs to increase its diversity, and it has a harder time attracting diverse students so it isn’t for everyone. But a completely free ride to a very selective school would be pretty hard to turn down, I would think.
