Rankings - English - Graduate Schools - Education - US News and World Report

As a potential English major, this makes me very happy. I'm also excited to see that Penn's programs continue to rise to the top in national rankings.

Nice. I wonder what this portends for the coming NRC rankings?

I’m applied as a potential English major too!! =)

because we all know how reliable rankings are lol

but unfortunately, it’s a necessary evil…

I’ve always wondered-this may be a stupid question-but how exactly do such graduate school rankings apply and/or not apply to undergraduates?

they may apply in that graduate faculty may teach undergraduate courses and undergraduates can do research with those faculty members

they may not apply in that neither of the above two options may be possible

in general, better programs have better resources and better connections
