University of Michigan is a fantastic school, and Ann Arbor is a really fun town. Michigan has much larger financial resources, many highly ranked programs, and a very bright student body, (though I am sure that in the Honors College, both schools are pretty close). Can you afford the cost difference though? And have you visited Mich.?

PSU Honors is also rated tops a long with Mich. So Id say just go with the cheapest. Unless you really wan leave Penn. for any reason.

Academically, UM > PSU - although both honors programs are highly respected.
Depends on if $ is an issue and the type of environment you want.
You're very lucky to have such good choices!

i did want to become a wolverine but out of state $$ is a big issue so i guess i will be off to happy valley this fall. i was only worried about schreyer's credibility for grad possibilities but if it is respected, undergrad & pennstate shouldn't be a problem. i could always transfer after a couple years.

thanks again! <33

By many accounts Schreyer is the most respected Honors college in the country. Its credibility is absolutly not an issue.

beachnik,
I'll see you there!
Regardless of what choice you make/made, you have some really great options coming out of high school!
