You're not going to see many kids from Yeshiva at the Faicco Pork Store on Bleecker St or the Spotted Pig in Greenwich Village either.

PCC just sounds like Yeshiva for Christians. What's so wrong with that?

Another nice post Rich, but again, I fear that it "fell on deaf ears", so to speak.

I went to this college for a summer camp and all i can say is what a fricking CULT!!!!!!! Its like a cloning factory. If you dont worship the way they do your considered a work of the devil. My church uses drums and when i said that to the staff they said its against God!!!! Hello look up Pslams 150!!! They need to realize that they need to change from there old ways! And God forbid you touch a girl! And if you dont read the KJV bible have fun in hell. They get a bunch of homeschoolers(nothing against homeschooling I think its a good idea if you cant send your child to a chrisitan school) and continue to brainwash them. And I noticed that they all get married before they graduate. This college is not an idea by God but a way to make kids brainwashed to their ways! I hope that this college gets some good admin. and they realize that God loves you no matter if you where polos, baggy jeans, or if you listen to chrisitan rap.

I think the part about "black marker boxer shorts" on Michelangelo's David was the most offensive part of the article. Just beyond words.

the thought of such an unreasonable institution and its ridiculous rules is almost amusing..

" Those rules extend beyond the campus. A man and a woman cannot go to an off-campus restaurant together without a chaperon (usually a faculty member). Even running into members of the opposite sex off campus can lead to punishment. One student told of how a group of men and a group of women from the college happened to meet at a McDonald's last spring. Both groups were returning from the beach (they had gone to separate beaches; men and women are not allowed to be at the beach together). The administration found out, and all 15 students were expelled. "

Lol...

Where does it say in the bible that men and women should avoid going to resteraunts together? Or that all contact between unmarried couples is bad? Seriously?

That sucks. I can't imagine going there. Two girls I work with are going to PCC and are actually excited about it.

this made me really want to go there for a semester and then write about it..i'd probably get kicked out the second i stepped on campus, though--i bet they can smell heathens..plus i have a tattoo that would be visible if i wore a skirt, which is probably like 80 demerits haha

Conservatives are Nazis.

^^ I'm pretty far left-leaning, and that's a really offensive blanket statement.

So I'm guessing you're a troll?

ahahaha so true!

there was this kid who got accepted to UF but his parents were forcing him to go to PCC. Over at the UF section of cc you can find the thread with this kid who is unwilling to go to PCC because UF doesn't have enough "Christianity." My butt. There are tons of clubs for him to join that are church related. Parents have a lot to do about this. They are the enforcers and the students are eventually subdued in going to this absurd, unimaginable place you call a college.

The problem with those who cave into parental pressure and go to such schools is that they're hurting themselves more than anything. Suppose they find themselves unable to finance their own education, even though so many students do exactly that. They're spending four years earning a degree from an unaccredited institution. Accordingly, a degree from there carries no weight in the real world. So, instead of earning four years of salary and work experience, they've spent their time getting a degree that nobody will ever take seriously.

I heard they have a renowned biology department

The President of Iran and Osama Bin Laden oppose the seperation of church and state and hate evolution as well as public signs of affection, telling.

My high school "trained" us to attend that school. They really pushed Pensacola on their students, it almost seemed as if they were getting paid to recruit.
I believe a lot of students ended up going...
Pensacola seems a bit cultish, based on what I've read about them.

I remember one of my teachers told us that he was expelled from Pensacola because he and his girlfriend were walking on the same sidewalk. He said boys are supposed to walk on one sidewalk, and girls on another.

I don't know how true that is, but if it is true...wow.

I went to a private Christian school for K-4th grade and they were trying to encourage us to go there as well (I actually bought that shiz when I was like 7). Thank god I got put in public school after that. what a brainwashing place. Now they'd probably ban me from their campus before I even got there. Hooray for being a liberal, pro-choice, Obama supporting non-virgin who likes shorts and movies rated above G!

As much as I dislike the Christian right this school doesn't worry me. If someone chooses to go to this school that's up to them. Our military universities are just about as bad anyways.
