people at ucsc!!

its funny when I went to visit the campus every guy I saw had long hair on campus and of campus. Honestly if they are worried about the cost for a haircut I would gladly help them out for free!!!

LoL, yeah I live about an hour away from Santa Cruz, so I've been to the campus a few times. A lot of people here see UCSC as filled with tree huggers and pot heads. The hair helps the hippie stereotype, but Im sure its not filled with people like that.

not all guys have long hair. not everyone does drugs. not everyone is a tree hugger.

sterotypes suck.

hippies rule :D

Yes, I'll agree with that one :)

yeah, true that. If you're not a pot head I suggest Colleges 8, 9, and 10. I'm a big city girl, and was unfortunately forced to pick UCSC since it was the best school I got into. I was difficult finding people i meshed well with first besides my roommate. I had to resort to joining a sorority to find what i was looking for. However, as each day passes, UCSC gets a tad bit better. You will find people like yourself, you just need to look for them. I don't smoke weed often, and to be quite honest I come across it very rarely. If you're not looking for it it's not like its necessarily going to come your way.

Bring you car up. I'm a first year and I have a parking permit at the east remote lot. If you're smart (like me ) you'll get someone to get you one. It has made my college experience wayyyy better. I'm still trying to find my niche here quite honestly. I was considering tranfering because i really dont mesh well with the general population, but I didnt because of my boyfriend (stupid me) and my sorority. I definitely think I'll transfer next year though... the hippies get a bit irritating. Sorry... quite a pessimistic post.

Oh yeah, the guys aren't too cute either... you really gotta dig.
