I was wondering if the admission weight heavily on the fall semester senior grades, because i took an AP class and got a C in it and it dropped me to a 3.3… But i would say my essay is pretty sincere and i did alot of research on the school. I can firmly say that Davis is my first choice and i really want to get off the waitlist.</p>

<p>i believe senior year grades didn’t really matter as long as they were above a 3.0 and you didn’t get a D+ and below on any class. For waitlist priority, your 200-word essay that you submitted would be imho the most crucial factor in distinguishing you from other waitlisters. I got waitlisted a few years ago, but got accepted almost immediately after the submission deadline and i believe it was because of the 200-word essay i wrote.</p>
