<p>Of course, it's going to be different than those who are from around the area and have already established relationships, but I'm sure we'll all make contacts and friends from those around us. I'm coming from CA, and I was worried about the same thing at first, but hopefully I'll make friends in ROTC and from class and possibly those living around me, even though I'm living off campus.</p>

<p>well if you are on campus then you should not have any trouble meeting people. Especially if you are starting in the fall. Half the people on campus are new. What standing you are really does not matter. Might want to request East since they have the most new people if you are concerned.</p>
