I’ve noticed no one has started a thread for this, so I guess I’ll be the first! Here are a couple of fast facts about me:
-I’m an applicant from Florida
-I’m a member of the church of Christ (one of the primary reasons I applied to Pepperdine)
-journalism major
-1440 new SAT
-3.94 UW/4.74 W GPA
Pepperdine is a wonderful school and even better community of people. We fell in love with it, but it didn’t have my daughter’s major. She is at Pomona College, another fine school in SOCal, but Pepperdine offers great value. Good Luck. Whomever is admitted is a lucky student indeed.
Awesome stats @luke28 !! I’m a junior still but plan to apply next year (god willingly) and I am also interested in applying for a business major. It seems like there aren’t a ton of MA kids tho, did you take a trip down to tour? If so what did you think, I’d love to hear from a northerner perspective
Pepperdine is my first choice and the other California schools I’ve already been accepted to are Chapman and Loyola Marymount. Is anyone else for sure going if you get accepted?
I applied from Pennsylvania
Pepperdine is a wonderful school and I love the west coast but I just wished i lived closer. For those of you on the east coast what are your thoughts on going across the country for college
I am applying from Oregon with Political Science and/or International Affairs in mind for majors/minors. Pepperdine has been my top choice for about three years now, and I’ve visited the campus three times. I do not have a ton of community service hours/involvement, but am heavily involved in a preprofessional performing dance company (20+ hours a week) and hope that they see that as valuable…(I am very interested in Dance In Flight at Pepperdine). My GPA is 3.83 UW and 3.88 W (my school only offers 2 AP courses). I am extremely nervous about whether or not I will be accepted, but know that it’s in the Lord’s hands! Wishing you all the best of luck.
My D received an artistic acceptance, but has to wait for academic decisions. Really hope it works out because Pepperdine is one of her top choices! Looks like admission decisions will be out 3/17.

My D loved Pepperdine when we visited and has applied…her grades and stats are good but probably not high enough for any large $$$ awards so even if accepted it’s unlikely she’ll go. But we’re looking forward to finding out! She just received her “app tracker” email and another email saying her application was complete.
@Anitapitamom “artistic acceptance” is that the same as “Fine Arts Special Achievement Recruit”? I am asking because my D just got a letter stating her acceptance to the program is contingent upon admission status.
Does anyone know how they notify regarding admission decisions? Portal, mail or email?? My D is really excited about Pepperdine and hoping she gets in.
