Pepperdine or Biola? Help!

Biology Pre-med major
Christian
Love them both and can’t decide which to go to? Please help with your thoughts. Comfort level feels the same on both campuses, which is what is making this so hard.

Pepperdine is much better known in other parts of the country. Pepperdine has plenty of Christian outlets and opportunity but it’s probably not as pervasive as at Biola.

Any difference in cost?

Yes Pepperdine is more, but the cost is not of concern.

My brother was a pre-med student at Pepperdine.
From his experience he said that almost all pre-med students dropped out since the lady in charge of the program would always try and convince you not to do medicine instead of helping you. When my brother applied to medical school, she didn’t help him at all. Her goal was basically to weed out all the less “bright” students so that only the ones that were most likely to get accepted at medical school were to remain. She did this so that pepperdine’s medical school student acceptance rate would be high.
Overall, in the pre-med field Pepperdine is not the best, but apparently there is going to be a new person in charge of that program next year so he/she might be more supportive. Also I think this situation is common at private schools since percentages tend to matter more to them.
As for Christianity, from what I’ve heard there are very adamant Christians, but there are also some people who just don’t seem very genuine. But it is very nice going to a Christian school. Often professors will pray with you before class or a test and it’s nice to just go somewhere where lots of people aren’t hating on your religion.
Overall I know basically nothing about Biola, and am attending Pepperdine next year.
