<p>Im deciding between the two. Chapman would be about $15,000 cheaper a year, but pepperdine has more prestige. I want to get into a good law school.</p>

I don’t think you should just go to a school based on prestige, but if you really like it or not.
It would feel a lot better to graduate debt free. Although I heard pepperdine has excellent dorms…</p>

<p>When it comes down to Law School, many will tell you your gpa and your LSAT scores is what absolutely matters. There is no significant advantage or disadvantage in attending Pepperdine vs Chapman. 15K cheaper a year x4 is 60K in your pocket/parents pocket, or money you will not have to pay back in the future, and that’s a huge difference.</p>

The relative perceived difference, in my opinion, is not worth 60K.</p>
<p>Pepperdine is a higher rated school, with a greater prestige. Because of it’s location, in Malibu, you are likely to get great internship at a law firm. And it has a great law school as well. Beautiful campus, great dorms too. But you have to ask yourself if the extra money is worth it.</p>
