Percentage of Students Going to Grad School

Hi, I'm from California, and I got into both Smith and Mount Holyoke. I was wondering how many women pursue medical school education after graduating from either of those schools. Is it harder to get into compared to better known schools such as the UC's (University of California) or ivy leagues? Thanks.

Smith has 80%+ acceptance rate compared to the national average of 30% and I do think our science programs are much stronger than Mt. Holyoke's.

I don't know exactly... neither does the career development office. They know where people are applying but most people don't get back to them where they get in. These kind of stats are tough to get.

also, I think Smith has a large number of students who apply to grad school a few years after graduation...that's what I'm considering doing with law school, so the figures about where students end up the year after graduation are probably quite different than where they ultimately go.

ahhh are the Science programs stronger?

PLUS POINT TO SMITH.

goes back to ticking off pros and cons on comparison sheet

Do you kids ever check the stats from the colleges directly or other sources such as US New & World Reports etc. ? I see quite a bit of misinformation everytime I visit (not just the smith chats)

When it comes to questions that will have specific numbers involved please do the proper research before making your decisions.
