Percentile or score...hmmm

Quick question, my SAT is a 2150 and my ACT is a 32 (composite), most people tell me that a 32 is equal to or a bit worse than a 2150 bbbbuuutt 2150=98th percentile and 32=99th percentile, so my question is what is more important...the percentile or the actual score? Also, just curious do percentiles change for each testing date, and if so do the colleges look at the percentile for the date that you took the test or just some general/averaged percentile?

The scores are based on percentile. These are standardized tests, meaning they compare people. It's all about how well you do compared to others. Score=percentile. So, if a 32 is a 99th and 2150 is 98th, then a 32 is better. Oh yeah, and the percentiles don't change with test dates. they are "standardized" so all dates are the same.
