Perception of NYU in New York City

sphere:

The students who have obtained their graduate degrees from LIU-Brooklyn have generally been satisfied with their choice. I got an MPA from LIU-Brooklyn, and the reason I attend that school was because the MPA program was accredited and I could complete the program in two years full-time. I liked the health specializations they had, and the professors in the program conduct ongoing research in their fields. Columbia's MPA program don't have health specializations and it is not accredited. NYU's program, accredited, requires three years to complete plus the expense. The CUNY MPA programs did not have what I was looking for.

LIU-Brooklyn's pharmacy degree programs are considered among the best in the pharmaceutical field. The problem many students at LIU had with the school is its lack of name recognition, which is poor, even beyond Brooklyn, except within the pharmaceutical industry.

At least for my field, Mt. Sinai has a very good reputation in the medical and health care community, both in NYC and elsewhere.
