In the lull before this cycle’s kids do their move in, and the next cycle heats up, I thought you might like to read this column about earnings, that an actor friend posted on Facebook today. And of course, there are agent’s fees, and if you don’t work exactly the perfect number of weeks (yes one week shy will boot you) then you have to sort out your own health insurance, as well, even if you’re working. Among other normal costs of life and kids, etc.

We need group rates on a Xanax drip.

I just read somewhere that every year there are ~750 open slots in professional baseball, a fact that reinforces my belief that kids have FAR better odds of earning a good living in pro sports than in MT. :slight_smile:

@momcares, don’t let that worry you. Those 750 pro baseball slots all go to men. Oh wait… never mind. :wink:
