On the SAT Chemistry test, do you have access to a periodic table? I thought that you did, but I started a spark notes practice test online, and there wasn't one.

I saw it from the Real SATII Official Blue Book one. It is like a crappy periodic table.

Well I guess it will be better than nothing.

The periodic table is not really useful during the test

Do you have to memorize molar masses of certain elements? That's usually when I need a Periodic table.

I am sure that if you are in a good honors chemistry class, then elements like sodium and chlorine should be in your mind without you having to memorize it.

naidu makes a point... but naidu we wud require the table to look at periodic trends etc..

a table is given, it contains the atomic mass, element symbol and of course the atomic number

you should know the periodic trends by doing the unit on the periodic table, but yeah it is good to have the periodic table as a confidence booster:)

its given. its actually pretty useful

naidu what i mean is.. ii know that Ionization energy increases from left to right; however when two elements r given to me; only if i know their respective positions will i b able to tell which has more IE or whatever..

wow.....periodic table is given.........are you sure?
this makes chem. sooo simple

"A periodic table indicating the atomic numbers and masses of elements is provided for all test administrations."

gr8 work neutral.. ill go one better and post the link to the thale thats gonna get provided.

lol......i'm not evn gonna stud chem. anymore

can't say the same myself, considering I'm taking AP chem this year

Are you allowed to make marks on the periodic table they give you? 'cause when I take a chem test I usually mark orbital filling stuff, energy levels, periodic trends, etc.

yeah, its in the booklet w/ all SAT 2s, the table is on the first page before the test
