<p>I'm a permanent resident and there is an error on my green card.when you apply to colleges i know that you have to send them a copy of your green card.so do you think colleges will understand that there is an error and that I'm in the processes of fixing it?because immigration takes FOREVER to send you a renewed card.</p>
<p>I don't recall sending the colleges I applied to a copy of my green card. All I had to do was write down my alien number on the application. I'm sure if you write a letter and attach it to your application, they'll understand.</p>
