<p>Just curious, do students get a personal NYU email? In what format does it appear?</p>

<p>all nyu students get an email in the form <a href=“mailto:netID@nyu.edu”>netID@nyu.edu</a>. you can create an alias for this in whatever form you want, but to log in to nyu home and other sites its going to be the original netID.</p>

<p>stern students get another email address in the form <a href=“mailto:netID@stern.nyu.edu”>netID@stern.nyu.edu</a> and the same things apply as above.</p>
