Does anyone else feel that regular people that tweet are incredibly pathetic and arrogant? I do see the point of twitter in the use it has for following athletes, celebrities, porn stars (they have hilarious tweets <_< ), Charlie Sheens, etc. But the people at my school with Twitters are freaking pitiful. They have like 8 followers and you see them with 16 tweets in a day, it's just sad that they think people care THAT MUCH about what they have to say. I dread the day Twitter becomes as common as Facebook.
Anyone else agree?

You forgot Iranian Revolutionaries.

That was my intro to Twitter, when CNN decided to cover the Iranian protests in the Summer of 2009 by refreshing a giant Twitter screen every 5 seconds (literally not exaggerating, this was 60% of their news for days).

Uh…there’s a difference between people in the midst of political turmoil, and a high schooler tweeting about a movie he just watched, which I’m talking about.

Isn’t tweeting pretty much the same as Facebook status updates? Anyways, why do you even care? If it annoys you just don’t use twitter.

I meant that you forgot Iranian Revolutionaries on the list of people you can understand having them.

But CNN was still really annoying about it.

I find this funny because I know people who say the same thing about Facebook.

cool story bro

Lawl, that is true. But my point still stands.

Well, I’m younger than TCBH (college student, right?) and I say the same thing about Facebook.
