Please correct me if I'm wrong.

ooh, this is awesome!
I think the stereotypical harvard student is definitely an INTJ
and UChicago and INTP go together as well
However, I’m an INTP and I can imagine myself going to Columbia
I know one kid going to Princeton, and yeah definitely ENTJ,
but I think Stanford might be more P? I can’t say because I’ve never actually met a Stanford student…

I don’t know much about the other schools so yeah, this is so epic!

Can someone explain these acronyms to me, please?

These are Myers-Briggs Personality types. Read all you want here.

[Myers-Briggs Type Indicator - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Myers–Briggs Type Indicator - Wikipedia)

Each letter shows an aspect in what (in theory) is one of four pillars of every personality.

Ah, ok. Thanks.

There’s no way you can make such generalizations about most colleges. I can only agree with UChicago, MIT, and Cal tech, and perhaps Brown, because their students are all somewhat similar. The other schools are far too diverse to generalize with myers-briggs types.

I love this!! Kind of accurate in my opinion

No love for xxFx?

T is master race, anything else is inferior LOL.

ESTJ unite!

If only being of one personality type was a hook :(. INTJ here.

Infj in da house! Much cooler than you asperger-prone INTJs ;)

Adcom: “She’s an INFP! She’ll bring love and tranquility to our campus!”

…I wish xD.

Asperger-prone… yes.

Rulers of the world… yes.

You win some, you loose some.

Oh and the aspergerness comes primarily from the I, which you have too ;).

Lol…I am an INTJ, but I really don’t think I could get into Harvard, MIT, or Cal Tech (I didn’t even apply to any of these schools).

@semaphore12: I know what you mean. I wish being an INTJ was a hook too…we’re so rare :).

ISTJ!
Who’s with me? Columbia all the way :]

@98beebee: I’m an ESTJ too!! We’re the BEST

ENTP here who’s dream school is Brown.

Hm, I think ESTJ/ESFJ can apply for Penn and ENTP/ENFP can apply for Brown. But yeah, getting “to the top” is generally something where having too many feelings can get in the way…

==

Here’s another way to put it:

Caltech: INTP/INTJ
UChicago: INTP
MIT: INTJ
Brown: ENTP/ENFP/INTP/INFP
UPenn: ESTJ/ESFJ/ISTJ/ISFJ
Columbia: ISTJ/ENFJ/ESFJ
Stanford: INTJ/ENTJ
Yale: ENTJ/ENFJ/ESTJ/ESFJ. A bit more “S” than the other elites, but more “N” than places like JHU and Northwestern.
Princeton: INTJ/ENTJ
Harvard: INTJ/ENTJ
Dartmouth: ESTP/ISTP
Northwestern: ESTJ
JHU: ISTJ

I don’t know, I can’t quite associate certain personality types with a certain school, because, well, it’s college. I have certain stereotypes locked in my mind pertaining to the types of people that go there(as in beliefs, social life, etc.), but not necessarily their distinct personality types.
