Petroleum Engineering Internships/Co-ops

<p>I will be a freshman this fall at PSU enrolled in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering.</p>

<p>I have heard that it is very possible to get an internship the summer after freshman year.</p>

<p>Just want to hear from somebody who knows more about internships and co-ops in PetE, preferably someone who has experience with it. </p>

<p>Also looking for some insight on how to be ahead of the game as far as applying or even simply making contacts for a position.</p>

<p>I’d imagine you’d have to be pretty amazing in the interview to steal an internship from an upperclassman.</p>
