Pharmacist career

I’m Intrested in being a pharmacist but Im not super good at math and science and I know it requires A LOT of that. Should I reconsider for something else?
also if you’re in the medicine field how is it? is it really competive? cons, pros, etc
btw I’m a hs junior so what classes should I take/do well in?

Generally, for the health professions (medical, dental, pharmacy, optometry), you should be on the science track to take biology, chemistry and physics. For pharmacy, you’ll need 2 years of college chemistry including organic chemistry. For math, you should be on the track to take 1 year college calculus. Keep in mind that the health profession is very competitive and you pretty much have to be an “A” student in most of these classes to get into these professional schools. If you are not doing this, you might want to consider another area. It is not the end of the world. There are plenty of great opportunities outside the health professions.
