Hi everyone! I'm currently a 2nd year undergraduate at a pretty good school. I'm planning on going into pharmacy (PharmD.) or some other field of medicine. The thing is, I've had some trouble with my major, not knowing what exactly I want to do (even this medicine thing is a compromise, I'm into the arts). I'm usually good at math and science, but I've had a rough last two semesters. It brought down my GPA to 2.67 and I'm used to the 4.0-5.0 I had in high school. I made the mistake of taking hard classes together and pretty much EVERY time their exams ended up being on the same day (every 3 weeks or so a semester). I was also having some other personal issues, but nothing that called for a semester drop/withdraw. Most of those classes were also in my old major that don't have anything to do with pre-pharmacy/medical pre-requisites or my Chemistry undergraduate major. I'm just wondering if it's still realistic to go into a medical/pharmacy profession. I'm almost positive I can get my GPA up to a 2.9-3.0 next semester and then a little bit more each semester after that, but realistically my max is probably a 3.5 at this point. If I do well in my major sciences and pre-requisites, or a higher level of a pre-requisites (like doing well in advanced stats, but mediocre in intro stats) or something, would schools take all of that into account? The upward trend, mediocre overall GPA but good sciences, major change etc?

Thanks!
