Phase 1: Dillemma, which class to sign up for first?

I am wanting to enroll in korean 1a, physics 8a, bio1b, history 4a, and phil 25a.

Bio 1b isnt too hard to get into, correct?
So which classes should I sign up for in phase 1? History 4a has a pretty small class size (120ish), so im thinking hist 4a and korean 1a (9 units already). But I also feel like Phil 25a is gonna be a problem (will it?) since class size is around 230ish..

Well, that is too many units total, how can you take so many classes? Signing up for Korean 1a first makes sense so you can pick the section time you want, 5 days a week is 5 days a week. You can't reallly judge by class size, you can look at previous semesters class schedule and see how impacted each class was.

yea I am planning on dropping 1 that I don't like...

I can't imagine 25a is going to be a big problem. PHILOSOPHY 6 with Dreyfus would be the hot ticket, if you ask me.

I phased 2 bio 1b and got in fine. I would recommend taking 1b in spring though. I have heard Powers (the fall plant teacher) is a *****. Also, you can't miss out on Feldman (spring plant teacher)

BTW, what is you major and year?

Umm when should we start worrying about this? I thought registration was a ways away.

Phase I started on the 14th for continuing students. Freshman have their Phase I appointments at CalSO or after it if you don't attend CalSO.

yea powers has mixed reviews on ratemyprof... idk what to make of all of it...

as for my major, Im undecided right now (freshman) but I am going steady on my pre med pre reqs. However, Im trying to move around a bit and try different classes that perk my interest here and there.
IF I do take bio 1b spring, then do you guys recommend 1A in the fall? Forte seems like a bad option... or probably take it in the summer?

But then again, how bad can bio 1b with powers be... lol
