Phase 2? Decal classes? Huh?

Thanks to you all. I would have been seriously screwed if I didn't change to econ 100a from 101a.

Any suggestions as what to say to a prof to make him/her bump me up the waitlist?

What number are you on the waitlist?

31 of a 50 limit class

Nevermind. I'm gonna have to give up on that Entrepreneur class because it conflicts with Econ 100a. Hope they offer it next semester. I'm glad I was able to get into Econ, but if only I had done things right the first time, I could have gotten a DIS section at a better time. The good thing is that at least I'm not waitlisting anymore classes. So far I'm enrolled in stat 20, econ 100a, and an AC class, for a total of 12 units. Just need one more now to be full-time (need to be for finaid). Hopefully I can get an interesting de-cal class. Thank you to all who replied!

If you intend to do grad school econ u will need the econ 101 series. Math 53's not a pre-req for 101 a and b but apparently it helps. There's this chapter in 53 that is used in 101 but my friend says if your math is strong u can learn it in like an afternoon. But basically 53 will help u with other upper div courses in the econ major.
