PHEAA Grants

Wondering if anyone would care to post the amount of their PHEAA Grant (Pennsylvania)along with their EFC for this year or last. Also include type of school if you could.

The PHEAA site gives some pretty broad ranges for grants based on school type and very gerneralized family income, not taking into account family size, number in college, etc.. For some reason, they don't have an EFC table like the PELL grants. Just trying to get some sort of idea what we might be looking at.

To give you an idea of what I am looking for, we just went through a professional judgment case at a state school where S was able to get a grant for the current semester. Our EFC was 8200, and his grant was 460 for the semester.

Next year I will have 2 in college and a couple other things that cause their EFCs to both be under 4000. I know how much they will get for PELL, but would like to get a guess on the PHEAA might be.

This is a much later replay but may be helpful for people searching.
With a EFC around 7-8,000, was awarded PA Grant of 400 +change for out of state school, then transferred to in state school and the PA grant increased to about 1,700-1,800 per semester. P.S. Also received $740 summer state grant for two summer courses.

Oh yes, forgot, temporarily the grant was decreased twice, once a to $1300+, once to $818 per semester - 1) we have “pre-tax” withholding from pay-check by employer and PHEAA automatically excluded it as untaxed. After sending in a letter from employer to PHEAA with explanation that withholding is only for medical, the grant was reinstated. Then 2) D lives off campus and the amount was decreased [by school] until the signed lease was received by school.
