<p>I just asked one of my teachers for a rec letter (it's not even a letter, it's just a simple form he has to fill out ranking me from 1-10 in a few areas) for Brown Summer School... The teacher was sooo reluctant to do it for me. I coudl just tell they wanted to say no, but then kinda sighed and agreed. I guess I wont be getting a very good reccomendation now will I? lol I felt kidna bad askign after that, jees. I thought that teacher didn't like me too much and now i'm sure he doesnt lol. </p>

<p>one thing you make sure you do before you get a recommendation... ask the teacher up front if they would be able to write a GOOD recommendation for you... don't beat around the bush</p>
