exeter is one of the boarding school i am try out for. i trying out for my 10th grade year. i am asking what is it like and do i meed to know anything before trying out. like what kind of people do they accept.

PEA, like all top boarding schools, accepts bright, motivated individuals with strong senses of self and talent in a wide range of areas. Beyond that, it’s really a toss up.

As the new application season starts to get rolling, I encourage all prospective students to use the search tool here on CC. It’s not as good as it used to be, but it will most likely turn up some old threads that cover topics you all are curious about.

What should I search up??

I’m going to try for exeter too! Good luck to you!

Search Exeter, PEA, boarding schools, anything really. The search tool is a way for you to find all of the relevant information to what you need to know.

Keep in mind that the most recent posts you find won’t be the most helpful. There’re old threads/discussions that are quite long and informative, but haven’t been active. It’s also easier to google search Exeter and filter the College Confidential results so only they’re the only ones displayed.

I’m will probably be applying to Exeter too! If you go to Exeter’s website, click on Admissions, then click on FAQs, there is a question about a successful applicant’s profile :http://www.exeter.edu/documents/Student_Profile.pdf

Of course, they probably do consider other things as well because so many of the applicants possess these characteristics as @pdl100 said.
