How so?

I'd say "speaks to the contrary" is sillier.

Please, this is a thread for discussing certain private schools and their plusses and minuses. In many situations, there is no 'good' way to compare private and public schools.

Please try and keep the posts on topic.

On a more upbeat note:

Phoneixstrike: The dress code is really relativley simple (as explained in multiple previous posts). You dress formally for anything related to academics etc.

Deerfield: Formal (coat and tie every day)
SPS: Casual (khakis/cords/khaki shorts/no jeans and collar/sweater)
E:Casual
A:Casual

Exeter is formal.

You can pretty much get away with anything at Exeter aslong as you have a tie on. Faculty really doesn't care that much. Also, you can get away with wearing sweaters and sweatshirts in class if you want.

Slurpz, what did you mean by Andover is too "white" for you?

...Does anyone know if Andover, SPS, or Exeter offer tours during the summer?

superior child 24, howzit going? Are you really pleased with your choice, have you ever had second thoughts as to your choice? loaded ?

George Bush (current president) was head cheerleader at Andover. George Bush Sr. was baseball captain at Andover. But in total, great men from all spectrums have gone to Exeter & Andover.

LMAO. Moralityjustice.

Head cheerleader?! Hahaha.

Pictures of Cheerleader Bush - <a href="http://sf.indymedia.org/news/2004/10/1703988.php%5B/url%5D">http://sf.indymedia.org/news/2004/10/1703988.php</a></p>

Boys have to wear a tie and no athletic pants but girls have a more casual dress code. In the dormitory there is no dress code. Revealing clothes can be and are worn. Dress code is only enforced at required school appointments like class, assembly or music lessons. Sweatshirts are not apart of dress code but most teachers don’t mind and they can always be taken off before class and put back on after. Dress code is not enforced at either dinning halls except you have to wear a shirt and shoes.

why are you bumping this old thread?
