Philosophy and Values Breadth

I'm looking for suggestions for the Philosophy and Values breadth, I tried searching the forum but didn't find any good results. Class doesn't have to be necessarily easy, just looking for suggestions on classes you liked and found interesting.

Thanks

Math 135 or Math 125A

If you are a math type or computer science type Philosophy 12A is a good option (check to make sure it meets the requirement).

philos 3 (nature of the mind); i am really enjoying it this semester with prof lee, but next semester has a different teacher, so i dunno how well the class’ll go. but otherwise, it is a fascinating subject, in my opinion.

hmmmmmm… fiesta of fire… are u latino?.. i’m latino, lets be friends!! lol, but hey lets play halo on friday… hmmm philos 3 seems interesting, im prolly deciding between that and the existentialism class.

Classics 10B, easy and interesting. You get to learn about Europe’s best ethnic group, the Romans

What’s the name of the existentialism class (department and course number)?

i’m surprised no one mentioned ph 116, it’s probably easier than real philosophy classes, onlly 2 units!

^I second what hopeful219 says, PH116 is a great bet for anyone of any major, even if you’re not that interested in the fields discussed. They have guest lecturers each week, simple exams, and the course as a whole is not too stressful on the rest of your schedule.

philosophy 116 is a 4 unit class though…? not 2?

Public Health 116
