Phone Call from Princeton for Waitlisters

If you got the phone call from Princeton saying that you were taken off the waitlist, how would you react? Speak calmly? Cry with happiness? Shout with joy?

Does Princeton do waitlist phone calls?

It says in their letter that they will call and then follow up with a letter

Well then I guess most people would be overjoyed! What would you do gatsby?

I'm not sure. I don't really show my emotions that much. I would probably be overjoyed on the inside, but somewhat stiff/serious on the outside.

Most schools will not take you off the waitlist until you have committed to accept the invitation verbally.

It is because the list is not ranked, and you are very likely being asked to fill a particular "slot" relating to your interests, abilities, "diversity points" etc..

It is also because most schools aim for a 100% yield from waitlist admits.

I think I would finally get my jump up and down screaming moment.
