Since it's winter break, a lot of universities are unable to respond to my email within the next couple of days. So here's my question: Do universities allow certified true copies of transcripts that had been photocopied after being certified? Or does the "Certified True Copy" stamp have to be in the original blue ink?

I've to know soon, cause I'll be mailing my transcripts internationally, so it'll take sometime, and deadlines are drawing near.

Thank you.

You cannot photocopy transcripts. They have to come directly from the school (however they do it).

Some universities did not state that they want the transcripts directly from the school.

What I was and am asking is this - I’ve to submit all my school’s transcripts, from 9th-12th Grade, and since I receive four test reports each year, that makes it twenty-four pieces of paper for each set of transcript. If the “Certified True Copy” stamp has to be original, then the admin staff is going to have to stamp like hundred over papers cause I’m not applying to just one school. So do universities accept certified true copies of transcripts that had been photocopied after being certified?
