for the art supplement in photography, how many prints should I send in? It only says 10 minutes, so I'd guess maybe 10 or 15, but I don't know. Also, how long should the teacher rec be, and I send the work in a CD, right, with the teacher rec and my writing about it enclosed?

I am also sending in a photography supplement, but I’m sending it in to Yale, among other colleges, and Yale specifies to NOT use the Common App supplement.

So I guess I have similar questions, as well as, should I use the Common App supplement for my other applications (and just send slides to Yale)?

SAME QUESTION!

how does the common app supplement work?
how i do know if a certain college accepts the art supplement ?

It’s best to contact each college directly. My son is now a frosh.

Last year he contacted both the admissions office and the art department. He submitted both photographs & life drawings. Some schools only accepted slides. Some schools would accept a CD. Some preferred prints. Those that seemed to prefer prints of photographs were typically not forwarding the material to the art department.

Not all schools wanted a supplemental letter of recommendation from someone, like an art instructor.

AGAIN, CONTACT EACH COLLEGE DIRECTLY. THEY’RE IDIOSYNCRATIC.
