Photography vs. Graphic Design

<p>I love taking pictures and I love designing stuff on the computer. I am not sure which degree to get. I'm in a community college and I have already switched my major to studio arts so I can focus on photography. I'm going to be applying for four-year colleges soon and I'm not sure whether or not to choose photography or graphic design. After looking online, people say it's harder to get a job with a photography degree and it's easier to get one with a graphic design degree. is this true?</p>

<p>So I'm not sure which to choose. Please help!</p>

<p>Sounds like you have a very good idea of what you like to do now but also think about the different types of careers you could do. For example I like all types of art but for a career, art direction and graphic design intrigue me, so that is guiding my choice in major.</p>
