Our new garage will be completed behind our cabin by October 6th, so no more cross country trips from AZ to ME. Hurray! We didn’t think it would be built this year, but the contractor had a job fall through three weeks ago and slotted us in. I can’t believe how fast these guys work and what a beautiful job they’re doing.

So, we’re leaving the car here, flying home, and will have to rely on DH’s little mid-life-crisis Miata in AZ until we can get a real car which is a whole ‘nother ball of wax. Anyway, I’m so happy not to have to make that drive ever again!

ETA: I refer to this as a garage, DH views it as his shop. That the car fits in there is just incidental in his mind.
