Amazing! I would buy that. Really!

My friend (from college!) in Vermont said this is not a good foliage year.

I can’t read it without a subscription, but it’s pretty like I can’t eat at most (any) of the restaurants on the list. New Orleans does not seem to be the most celiac friendly town.

sorry that I can’t give you a gift link. Maybe someone else can?

I visited a few months sgo and also have to eat GF. New Orleans is the worst place I’ve ever been for knowing about and serving gluten free food. You have my commiseration!

Just in case…

@oldmom4896 Thanks for the suggestion. I hope this come across as a gift link.

Just finished my third miniature house; first one with a bathroom! Not to mention infinity pool with underwater lights (I had to make myself a pool float).

Oh my goodness, that is amazing. Can you elaborate? Hobby? For sale?

It’s a hobby and from a kit - they cost maybe $40-50. Each one is a little better constructed as I learn from my mistakes. This one took me about six weeks. I did accidentally install the kitchen wall upside down but realized in time to correct.

Awesome! Can you share what kit you use? I could use a new hobby and H would be very happy if I was tinkering with a 40$ kit rather than a 40K$ remodel

Fantastic photos. I particularly like the first one with the of the house and gardens.

Happy to share! Be prepared to spend a lot of time watching glue dry - while holding together teeny tiny parts! And don’t forget to steal husband’s small needle nose pliers and wire strippers; they’re very handy.

I’m including links to the exact items I purchased. Some of them have multiple vendors selling the same house.

I would be happy to live in any of these houses! At present nothing else is calling out to me, but if you search "miniature houses) you can see the wide variety.

This is the most recent; it gave me the least trouble. One bonus was that the kit included info on two videos showing assembly of each item and the house parts - although the printed instructions weren’t bad, seeing it on video was a big help.

My first house was actually the most difficult; had I but known! But it kind of was the most interesting because it had the widest variety of crafting techniques - including sewing and making some items out of clay instead of having plastic parts in the kit. It also involved assembling teeny pieces from wire (part of the watching glue dry activity), and cutting out minute parts with a crafting knife. But I only had to wire one light instead of nine like the other houses.

And this was the middle house - I couldn’t resist the beachiness of it! And I used some of my own shells in the decor ;).
