A couple (few?) months ago I wrote about my (adult) D’s cat, Kona, who stands at the window, paws on the ledge, in the early evening and hangs out with a bunny. They truly visit often, and I can hear both of them ‘chatting’ - Kona stands on her hind legs and bunny just hangs out. It’s happened a lot. Kona is visiting and I finally(!) heard her ‘chatting’ and was fast enough to get my phone, and capture them both in a picture - it’s twilight, so bunny is not so easy to see, but once you see her (I assume it’s a her) she’s pretty clear.

This is from a few years back and showed up at as a Facebook memory. I call it: Rumble at the Birdbath. Our cat used to have a lot to say to both participants.

I have a kitten (now 1) that “talks” to the birds out at the feeder near our back deck. Tried to post her pic but not successful.

That sounds right! :rofl::gift_heart:

Unfortunately, there will be no update with gorgeous Monarch Butterfly pictures from the caterpillars I posted the other day. A neighbor decided to mow the side of the road yesterday and killed them all. :cry: :rage:

That part of the road is ours - totally our property with a right of way to their houses through it. Not only did they kill the Monarchs, they also made it so we can’t use that pony pasture and another one for a few days because they left the clippings there and into the pasture. Needless to say, they didn’t ask first and we’re pissed. It’s at least a good thing that the ponies weren’t on that pasture yesterday, but as of today, we had planned for them to be. Now we have to make other plans. It’s annoying. I’ve made sure they know how I feel.

It had better not ever happen again. Not everyone wants their place to look like a Country Club. Some of us vastly prefer nature and live in the country so we can have nature abounding around us. There was nothing at all wrong with a road lined with milkweed, goldenrod, asters, and grass that was taller than an inch high. We get rid of poison ivy, multiflora, and other really pest types of plants.

I have no idea what this means??

Squid Game on Netflix. Korean show dubbed in English. I thought it was excellent.

Thanks! But I also don’t know what this is a photo of or how it’s connected to the show?

Deleted.

I suggest those who enjoy Squid Game start a thread to discuss it. Otherwise this thread could get very confusing :thinking: .

Also deleted. Carry on!

Yup, deleted the photo as it makes no sense, but to answer Hoggril’s question before shutting down the topic all together, it’s of a sugar candy which, in The Squid Games, appears as one of the deadly games where the contestants have to figure out how to cut out the embedded shape perfectly without breaking the rest of the candy and in given time. Those who make it survives and move onto the next deadly game.

BunsenBurner & MaineLonghorn - breathtaking!!!

My morning view from the deck of our motel room. The land you are seeing across the river is Canada. How I long to be able to go there and prowl around my lifelong haunts, but with the testing requirement, it’s not likely to happen. If it were a sunny day, the river (St Lawrence) would be deep blue. Maybe tomorrow.
