How did I not find this thread until today? Magnificent pictures!
We enjoyed the Van Gogh immersive exhibit in Denver. Hubby took photos and video too. It was pricey ($70, but friend got a deal for $50), but in these times where we can’t travel it was nice to do something different near home. There was even a place to have a drink with the friends when we arrived early.
I really laughed the next week when there was a deal in the paper in partnership with a local marijuana store. I thought “Yikes, are they having a pot party at the show? How will they drive home?”. But it turned out the deal was buy a $50 ticket and then get a $50 gift certificate to the shop.
Just learned about the “panorama” setting.
And I think my dog is a little to relaxed.
And our Pre Covid Van Gogh experience😀
One of my favorite photos, we were walking across the bridge and I thought “this might make a good picture”. I like how it has water, the half-timbered houses, and the forest behind. This is Schiltach, Germany
A vineyard overlooking Lake Geneva near Lausanne, Switzerland. Costco photo does canvas prints and we have a copy of this on our wall.
I love all these pix! How cheering on a cold January day!
On my way to a Botanical Encounters Meetup group I recently joined. I’m not specifically interested in botany per se, but am interested in strolling around trees and plants in Balboa Park and learning something new.
How this kitty has only had one emergency vet visit is beyond me…
She’s the Master of her Universe
And what can I say? Not every kitty can get an A in Gym Class though she’s the intelligent one of the two, so…
Gives a strong visual to, “Because it’s there!” reasoning.
Outstanding photos ! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks; the winter we left PA we had snow on Halloween and didn’t see grass until March. I don’t miss that much snow, but it’s nice to have it once a year. Clemson students are having a blast on campus this morning, a rare treat
Lake Hartwell ?
I cannot stop looking at the first photo. Very comforting.
Lake Keowee
Had to grab the point and shoot for this one, unfortunately (fella would have been long gone if I’d tried to get the SLR/zoom. Shot through a window, but not too bad, eh?
Fabulous photo. What type of bird is it?
