Facebook memory from 10 years ago. When we came out for a couple of months to road test San Diego, I flew home and flew back with our cat. We figured as long as we dragged her to the west coast, she should get a chance to walk on the beach and see the ocean. The little beach chair was a decoration from our VRBO.

Nuh-uh. That is definitely a normal sized beach chair and a huge mutant cat. You’re not convincing me otherwise!

Stopped off on my way home from my long overdue cut and color to watch the sunset. I really lucked out with the flag. The sky was not as orange as the camera makes it look; more pink.

Joined a #StandWithUkraine rally in Trafalgar Square, London. A mixture of fear, anger and sadness in the crowd.

Re the discussion if a TJ waxed amaryllis can bloom a second time…I bought mine the day after Thanksgiving and it gave me eight lovely blossoms until New Years Eve. Then I stripped the wax off, stuck it in a pot of dirt, gave it some food and water, and ta da! Three new blooms.

Sunset Ocean Beach pier (San Diego, not Maryland ).

We’ve had a great couple of weeks traveling and skiing in Colorado. H and I love our winter road trips. Since we live in San Diego we don’t mind the 2 1/2 weeks in the cold. Yesterday we skied at Crested Butte and it was a spring skiing day. It’s a really great town too.

This isn’t the greatest picture but it is a neat exhibit at the Smithsonian. They have statues of everyday, but highly educated and accomplished, women who are doing cool things out there.

I just sent this info and similar picture from IG
to my S21 (goes to school in DC) yesterday!

Edited to Remove IG photo per @BunsenBurner’s post below.

Sorry. Had no idea that reposting an IG image here was a problem.

Just a thought… sharing pictures taken by others (such as pix posted by others on social media etc.) without their consent might lead to copyright issues for CC. Let’s stick to posting our own pictures to keep this thread alive.

A bit rainy and windy yesterday in Sedona, but the 45 degree weather was great for the 4 mile hike to Devil’s Bridge. Heading home to San Diego today after our 2 1/2 week road trip.

@Marilyn - gorgeous photo. May I use it as inspiration for a watercolor painting?

Hiked the Volcano National Park (Hilo side, Big Island, Hawaii) at night to capture the current lava activity this week…

Oh, absolutely! What a nice compliment. I had to make that seagull fly by so many times to grab the shot .

Double rainbow on the back side of the storms that spawned the tornadoes in Iowa last night. This was taken about an hour north of the tornadoes.
