oof, not touching that one, no way, no how…
Found an old photo of Comet Hale-Bopp I took in 1995. Cropped it, cleaned it up a bit—not bad results! By darkening it slightly more of its tail became visible.
Could say it’s out of this world! Nice.
About a mile from our cabin in western Maine. We also saw a young moose running along the road the day before.
That looks so nice and cool.
It’s lovely, a refreshing 70° or so that is perfect for swimming or falling off a SUP.
I’ll bite. Are you trying to bait someone into asking “What’s SUP”?
Oh! No, trickery at all. SUP = Stand Up Paddle Board. It’s very popular here and I just assumed everyone knew the acronym.
Should have tried wazup….
This is so far off the beaten trail that I still have a hard time finding it, every time! My son visiting from Poland had never seen it, and it was really special showing it to him. We didn’t see a single other person in the entire area. This is the wilderness that tourists in Maine don’t take the time to discover, thank goodness.
This is Taughannock Falls near Ithaca, NY. It’s 33 feet higher than Niagara Falls. It’s an easy hike with a big payoff.
Love this! You’ll have to share where this is @MaineLonghorn. We are up in Portland quite often.
Gorgeous. Where is this? Apologies if you already mentioned.
Twin Lakes, CO. It’s about three hours from Denver and an hour from Aspen through Independence Pass.
Grand Falls in Somerset County. It’s quite the haul. Even from our “nearby” remote cabin it took over two hours to get there.
