This picture was taken in Feb. I love the color combination, lavender and yellow.

From my brother’s hook in Alaska earlier this week:

To our table tonight:

He sent us 30 lbs! I won’t need to think about what we’re having for dinner for the rest of the summer.

We’ve been out hiking the past few days and taken quite a few pics, but I think this is one of my favorites. I envision the tree calling, “dibs!”

Great photo!! To me, it looks like there is a fuzzy critter poking out from behind the rock trying to take a bite out of the rock!

Love it when we get that approach and I lucked into the window seat.

@ChoatieMom, what kind of fish, I eat a lot of fish, but just don’t recognize this type.

Alaskan salmon, not sure exactly which species. Absolutely delicious, though.

We drove over to Tempe this weekend for a concert, and loved the scenery the whole drive.

How far away were you?

When the Angels were at our local airshow they used our house for their turn around point so we got buzzed. So exciting!

Pretty far! On the north-east side of lake Washington.

Son could see the turnarounds (and hear) them from his balcony. We used to watch them at the Chicago Air Show. Then the first year we were in San Diego, we went to the Miramar Air Show. Stunning!

We were driving home from Maine one year on Rt. 95 through NH just as an air show was going on at Pease. Watching the fighter jets accelerate across the sky from a relatively close distance was amazing. They can put the pedal to the metal like nobody’s business!!
