Google tells me they’re about an hour apart from each other. We went to Cuyahoga last August and did the Ledges Trail there too. Both are neat geological features to enjoy - very similar to each other. Eventually we’ll be getting to the other parks too, but most of our time here has had rain, so the rest will wait for another visit.

Walked the Sidewalk Trail along Lake Ontario today (the one in/near Rochester if there’s more than one). Would LOVE to have these folks as my neighbors, both for “the” view (of the lake) and their views (of life).
Went to a local PYO tulip farm a couple of days ago. Difficult to choose which pictures to share. Here are a few:
@MADad, if this is in MA, could you share the name and location of it, either here or DM?
Wicked Tulips, Johnston, RI. They expect the fields to look good for at least another week. Their field in Preston, CT may still be open–Exeter, RI fields I believe are through… Johnston fields contain later varieties. They can be found online–that’s where you buy tickets. A ticket allows you to pick 10 tulips to take home. They give you instructions how to pick them, etc.
Technically, my son’s fiancee gave him the “Internet” card, but one of our grandkitties feels she is competition since he was searching for an orange kitten and guess where we found her!
I love her now, but the following is still my favorite pic of her:
And if anyone is in Rochester (NY), the Lilac Festival in Highland Park had a lot of pretty flowers - Lilacs and more - when we were there last weekend. The park is FAR larger than just the pic…
You are SO incredibly talented.
That is a gorgeous painting.
You’re a sweet talker! And I love it!! Thank you.
I was asked “what would you like to do for Mother’s Day?” and I said “paint!” So that’s what I did today & next week we’ll go for lunch - my painting today…
Your paintings exude tranquility.
I showed them to my husband and he completely agrees.
Keep painting!
If you lived in my town I’d be inviting myself over to your house to sit with tea and just stare at them.
Thank you for sharing them.
