Phys: Elect. and Mag. & E E

Well my question is this, if one's having trouble w/ Elec and Mag is it a good idea to go for EE?

If you're having trouble, don't just abandon everything just yet. That part of physics is usually tough for most people, and EE is definitely one of the more difficult engineering degrees.

anyone else?

EE sounds like a bad idea if you have hard time with physics 2.

I think its the Prof's teaching technique that sort of makes the class difficult.
The book is basically my only real teacher.

Don't quit if physics II is hard. You'll have a chance to relearn it again, once you take the E&M course offered by the EE department. That will most likely be after your second year.

I didn't quite understand circuit concepts in physics II, actually.. I couldn't even solve a 2-loop circuit with only voltage sources and resistors. I got like half credit on that phys II exam.

I then took Electrical Circuits from the EE dept, and I got an A-. I grasped the concepts very easily by doing tons of practice problems.

Remember, the best advice I got from a professor is that:

"Don't worry about the tests, try to learn the material. The tests will take care of itself."
