Physician Scientist Program Interview

Hi Everyone! I recently scheduled my interview with Albany Medical College after applying last November for RPI/AMC’s Physician Scientist 7 year program.
I was wondering if anyone knew how many kids get accepted every year? I tried looking online for any type of admissions statistics, but I couldn’t find anything.
My parents are ecstatic and think I have a good shot of getting in after I told them about the interview, but I’m worried they’ll only accept like 5 kids…
Also, has anyone ever gone to the interview? Are they going to ask more about research or science?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I think around 20-25 kids get into the program every year. I can’t find the stat but last time I checked less than 10% of students are admitted to the program so they get over 200 applications roughly. Even getting an interview is a huge honor, if you can do well on that you’re basically in - RPI said yes (the hard part), now the medical college needs to say yes. Just be yourself and stay calm and everything will be fine.
