Physics 8A back to back with Bio 1B

Just a quick question...

I'm planning to schedule either Physics 8A LAB or DIS back to back with my Bio 1B LAB.

I haven't an inkling of what the nature of the Physics Labs or Discussions are like so I was wondering if it'd be advisable to do Physics LAB back to back with Bio LAB or Physics DIS back to back with Bio LAB or if it just doesn't matter. I guess I'm kinda concerned about one thing running into the time of another thing.

Thank you. :)

why would you put yourself through the pain of a 6 hour continuous block of class? Have you tried it, it is horribly painful.

Now one more notice, if you are a bio major and/or premed, you generally don't need to take physics 8a until spring sophomore year or fall junior year (or the summer between)

e.g. here is an IB sample schedule
UCB Freshmen: Planning Your IB Major
couldn't find an mcb one to post too

I took Physics 7, and labs always finished well ahead of time...so I doubt that it's any different in the 8 series. So if you're worried about physics labs cutting into your bio lab time, it probably won't be an issue.

Is it better to take Physics 8a spring semester rather than Chem 3a?

I'm actually an Environmental Sciences major (Bio concentration).

I don't want to inflict that kind of torture on myself but since Physics 8A Lab and Dis are at the same time on different days, I wanted to schedule it early afternoon rather than later so I could continue working my job. Choosing alternate days without Bio Lab doesn't work for me because those days are packed. I might have to not work next semester so avoid the 6 hour marathon, I guess. .___.

Thanks for the responses. :)

Oh, and yeah, next semester would actually be spring sophomore year for me.
