How hard is it your freshman year to take Physics and Chemistry (in addition to calculus) i.e Purdue, Pittsburgh....

Sure, it's tough...buckle down and prepare to spend a lot more time studying. College courses, especially the lower-division intro science and math classes, are a lot more intensive than what you'll experience in high school. The academic competition is also greater.

But, if you got into Purdue, it's likely that you have the skills and discipline to get it done.

Not that hard. Pretty much every engineer that doesn't have AP credit to place out has to do it.

Been there done that, s'long as you don't want a constant social life you'll be fine.

Almost every engineer takes a semester of physics (or two), chemistry, programming, and two of math. It's not so bad, really.
