hi, I'm currently a freshman at UCSD majoring in physics, and I took both years of AP physics back in high school and got 5's on them, which i guess gave me 8 credits toward my major. question is, does this place me out of physics 4a and 4c (mechanics and electricity & magnetism), because on my academic record it says approx. level is phys 2a & 2b, or should I take 4a and c?

From the APCTable:

“C exam (E&M) score of 5 = exempts Phys. 2B or 4C and may take Phys. 4B for credit.”
“4 C exam (Mech.) score of 5 = exempts Phys.2A, 4A.”

B exam only gives you non-science Physics credit (Phys 10)
