Physics major goes into engineering?

I'm still in high school, but my dream is to become an astrophysicist, but I know that that is very difficult. If I don't make it into a Ph.D program, could I still have a chance to go into engineering as a physics major? Also, would Georgia Tech be a good place to go for physics?

Yes it is possible to move from physics to engineering. You could also look into an Engineering Physics program (sometimes called Applied Physics). Georgia Tech is a fine place for physics.
